Syndicate bankers are preparing for a lacklustre week in the international bond market, as a public holiday in Singapore on Tuesday gives investors an excuse to take a break from the frenetic pace of issuance earlier this month. But some companies are still giving serious thought to their own deals: Indonesian state-owned oil company Pertamina wanted to close a bond on Monday night, and China Shanshui Cement could announce its own transaction later this week.
