Vimpelcom defies EM turmoil to print $2.2bn
Russian telecommunications company Vimpelcom priced a $2.2bn triple tranche note this week, despite a poor market environment that saw CEEMEA bond prices fall on fears of contagion from Greece. The deal traded down a point on the day after pricing but it still outperformed: even Gazprom fell by 1.5 points.
