Mood swings in Europe as corporate deals are launched and pulled
The European corporate bond market is in a particularly bipolar mood this week. Depression prevailed on Monday and Tuesday and many issuers that had roadshowed or were thinking about issuing stayed in bed. Only Hoffmann-LaRoche announced a transaction — a Eu1.25bn buyback with no new bond.
