Newton braves IPO market as Kazakhmys changes plans
Chinese iron ore miner Newton Resources plans to brave Hong Kong’s IPO market, and has started pre-marketing a deal that could raise it around $350m. The company started pre-marketing just days after London-listed copper miner Kazakhmys cancelled its plans to raise capital in Hong Kong, blaming volatile trading conditions.
