Europe’s hotels are full of holidaying children this week, rather than roadshowing corporate treasurers. With London closed on Monday, and France, Germany, Italy and Benelux all celebrating Ascension on Thursday, few bond issues are expected. Many in the syndicated loan market are also taking a breather, although there are welcome signs of life in leveraged loans.
