GREEN FINANCE - Sun setting on foreign investors' green dream

Western companies and private equity firms have repeatedly been blown off course in their attempts to access Asia's lucrative alternative energy industry. Priced out of the market by domestic players in China and at the mercy of domineering property developers in India, they face a tough choice to avoid missing out completely: sell their technology or get into bed with joint-venture partners.
