BANKING - Eager to enter a crowded sector

Vietnam's banking industry is growing at a rapid clip on the back of the country's economic expansion, with a rash of operating licences awaiting approval. Foreign players too have entered the fray, increasing the competitive pressure still further. The potential for profit is a compelling story but fears remain over regulators' capacity to cope, writes Chris Wright.
