Sri Lanka sells 10 year bond as Fitch upgrades rating
The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka shook off concerns about investor confidence this week to price a $1bn 10 year bond — its fourth dollar benchmark since 2007. The sovereign timed its move into the international debt markets just right as the deal coincided with an upgrade from ratings agency Fitch.
