Dim sum issuers feel the pain, postpone deals
The offshore renminbi market has been insulated from external shocks for much of the year, as a growing pool of investors clambered to beat their miniscule deposit rates. But the market could not go it alone forever. Bankers said the same worries that had shut the dollar bond market had now caused several dim sum bond issuers to cancel planned deals.
