Issuers wanted as corporate market regains confidence

European corporate bond issuance is possible again, bankers said today, after a few frightening days in the market from Friday to Tuesday morning. European stocks closed 0.79% up today, as measured by the Euro Stoxx 50 index, taking it back above the 2,708 level at which it closed after Monday’s drubbing. Italian government bonds have also rallied — the 10 year securities are trading at around 95, having recovered most of the six percentage point dip they made from 97 to 91 at the beginning of the week.
