Sany, XCMG plan jumbo IPOs, volatility puts timing in doubt
Two Chinese machinery companies, Sany Heavy Industry and XCMG Construction Machinery, are planning jumbo IPOs in Hong Kong before the end of the year, hoping to raise $6bn between them. But neither company has set a firm timetable and bankers think they could wait until secondary markets begin to settle down.
