CEEMEA issuance dries up amid growth fears
The combination of the usual August slowdown, the Ramadan period and the extraordinary volatility in global markets triggered by fears over poor growth prospects in the US and the eurozone have called a halt to the flow of Ceemea primary issues. The market for these bonds had been rallying until late last week, but this week the sell-off began in earnest — although there was some recovery on Wednesday.
