Compass sells $1bn senior private placement
Compass Group has sold $1bn in a private placement. The deal, which opened on August 3 and priced today, was divided into seven year, ten year and 12 year tranches, each with a spread of 147bp above treasuries (equivalent to 3.31%, 3.98% and 4.12% respectively) and attracted 25 investors.
