Falling income hits Lloyds IB
Lloyds Banking Group joined the trend for poor first half investment banking results on Thursday when it reported a 30% drop in revenue in its corporate markets income against the first half of 2010. However, the division’s loss before tax and fair value unwind halved year on year, largely thanks to lower impairments.
