Shades of 2009 as restructuring fears resurface

There have been a couple of timely reminders of just how serious the crisis was for the EM loan market in 2008/2009. Global Investment House, a Kuwaiti investment vehicle, is in restructuring talks with lenders for the second time. Meanwhile, Dubai Drydocks has still not concluded negotiations on refinancing a three year loan that falls due on September 30.
