National Grid launches retail linker as wholesale market freezes
National Grid, the UK power network operator, has launched its sterling retail bond, having roadshowed it all last week to brokers and wealth managers in the UK and Channel Islands. Lead managers Barclays Capital and Evolution Securities have not yet fixed the size of the 10 year retail price index-linked bond, but they have set the price at a real yield of 1.25%.
