Romania preps US-targeted dollar bond
Romania is about to announce the mandate for its next international bond, which sources say could be a US-targeted dollar deal before the end of the year. Banks recently submitted proposals to the EU sovereign, following its appointment of eight dealers — Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Erste Bank, HSBC, Société Générale and UniCredit — to its new €7bn MTN programme.
