EM exit slows primary market
Investment fund flows out of the emerging markets have reached $26bn so far this year, according to Standard Chartered data. Just under half of this has been reallocated to the developed market world (some $12bn so far this year). This is a depressing sign for the region’s primary equity markets, which have slowed substantially since the summer.
