Korean Air sells rare ABS with KDB’s support

Korean Air closed a $300m asset-backed deal this week, selling a rare securitisation in a region that generates little cross-border activity for ABS bankers. But the deal had plenty of help from KDB, which provided a credit facility — and brought much of its investor base with it.
