LaShou’s Nasdaq IPO in doubt after SEC looks into accounts

Online commerce company LaShou Group launched an up-to-$80.35m Nasdaq IPO on Tuesday, becoming the first Chinese company to attempt a US listing in three months. But the deal hit an almost immediate roadblock when the US Securities and Exchange Commission said it wanted to look into the company’s accounting, forcing LaShou to put the deal on hold.
