Telstra and BG fly, but BAA felled by Italy
Three companies approached the euro and sterling bond markets this morning; two of them came away with successful deals. Telstra and BG Energy raised €750m and €1bn respectively, with heavily oversubscribed books and tightened pricing – but BAA, the UK airports group, went empty-handed.
