BOC slips in $750m bond, but widening sparks fears
Bank of China (Hong Kong) raised $750m at the start of this week, becoming the latest borrower to tap the market after a rally in credit markets over the last few weeks. But the deal quickly widened in the secondary trading, and some bankers argued that the deal looked aggressive after Greek politicians injected another dose of uncertainty into the debt market.
