Waiving and cheering greet Brenntag block

German chemicals firm Brenntag has been one of Europe’s best performing stocks since the start of January when BC Partners last sold down stock and it had been considered a candidate for another block trade even before releasing better-than-expected results this week. So it was no surprise when Goldman Sachs waived its lock-up form the last deal and launched an accelerated bookbuild on Thursday evening.
