Lloyds posts quarterly profit increase but wholesale figures down
Losses on asset disposals, derivative valuation adjustments and lower asset balances pushed revenues in Lloyds Banking Group’s wholesale division down by 38% year on year, the bank said on Friday. The same factors also contributed to the 67% fall in pre-tax profit in 2011 in the wholesale division.
