AdChina, Vipshop approach US market
Two Chinese internet companies have filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to launch initial public offerings in the coming weeks. AdChina and Vipshop Holdings are hoping to raise around $100m each in what could be the first Chinese deals to hit the US market since Tudou Holding’s calamitous performance in August 2011 ― the online video company fell 11.9% on its debut and a further 18.6% the next day.
