Savvy Hutch makes rapid return to bonds with $1bn tap
Hong Kong conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa made a rapid return to the international bond market this week, raising $1bn from the increase of a dual-tranche deal it sold in the middle of January. The company took advantage of the notes’ rally in the secondary market, beating the initial yield while still offering investors an attractive premium.
