Korea steers Asian debt markets towards normality
An enthusiastic response to two US dollar corporate debt issues out of Korea last week helped to set a record high for corporate debt issuance in Asia ex-Japan, according to Dealogic. The region’s equity capital markets maintained a steady stream of deals over the same period, while M&A volume dropped.
