Hyundai Capital finds tight pricing despite the crowds
South Korea’s Hyundai Capital raised $500m from the international bond market on Tuesday, pricing its deal at the tight end of price guidance despite competition from other Asian borrowers that day. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Citi and JP Morgan pitched the 5-1/2 year deal at around 290bp over Treasuries, but later tightened that to 275bp-280bp.
