Update: AIG gets $9bn of demand for latest stake sale
US insurer AIG closed by the far the biggest ECM transaction in Asia this year, raising HK$46.7bn ($6.081bn) from the sale of a stake in AIA. The deal was worth around three-quarters of an average day’s trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
