Local currency debt issuance to grow in 2009: ADB
Although there was a drop-off in issuance in the fourth quarter last year, the bank sees governments in emerging East Asia selling more bonds to fund fiscal stimulus programmes as well as capital-hungry corporates tapping the market for funding.
