Russian coal miner Raspadskaya’s $400m tightly priced five year note, which printed on Friday, is a clear sign that EM bond investors are willing to look at lower rated notes, say syndicate officials on and away from the note. But they cautioned that investors would still be discerning — buying only those credits with a good story to tell.
