Update: Haitong gets 11 cornerstones to boost IPO chances
Haitong Securities opened the books on a Hong Kong IPO that could be worth as much as HK$13.74bn ($1.77bn) on Tuesday, making its second attempt at a listing after scrapping a planned deal at the end of last year. But the firm has boosted its chances this time, by securing commitments worth $577m from 11 different investors.
