Cornerstone decision blamed as Graff falls
Graff Diamonds, the London-based luxury jewellery firm, was the most high-profile of three casualties in the Hong Kong IPO market this week. Its decision not to launch with cornerstone investors was a big mistake, said one banker in the region, while some in London suggested that the failure would put an end to the flow of European companies attempting Hong Kong listings.
