Sales and trading drive Deutsche profits
The bank reported a 67% year-on-year rise in net income for the second quarter on the back of the resurgence in equity and debt sales and trading. Its asset and wealth management businesses recorded declines, although notably its Asia-Pacific division has seen a €4 billion increase in invested assets since the start of the year.
