BoCom sale approved but Webb leads investor revolt
Bank of Communications got approval for a Rmb56.6bn ($8.9bn) private share sale on Thursday, after approaching shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting the day before. Activist investor David Webb criticised the sale for not giving shareholders the chance to avoid dilution.
