We won’t sell assets cheaply, says ING chief
In announcing the group’s second-quarter results, CEO Jan Hommen said the recent economic revival proved ING was right not to sell assets off at bargain prices and that he would continue to fight for fair value. Overall the group returned to profitability, although its Asia retail banking business reported a net loss.
