StanChart adds debt head to hiring spree
The bank is understood to have recruited Cristian Jonsson to run its global debt syndicate operation out of Singapore. He had worked as UBS’ head of Asian fixed income syndicate for three years before taking a sabbatical last year and brings muscle to the team. The bank has been hiring aggressively as it strives to ramp up its capital markets and investment banking franchise.
