Mid-market M&A activity slumps 60% in July
Global mid-market merger and acquisition activity for transactions valued at up to US$500 million fell to US$40.8 billion in July, from more than US$70 billion the year before, according to data from Thomson Reuters. But companies still continue to acquire in smaller size as they strive to survive the global financial crisis.
