Lending falls at Lloyds in ‘subdued’ economy
Wholesale lending fell in the first quarter at Lloyds Banking Group, but it has completed its term funding goal for the year. Its first quarter interim management statement released on Wednesday showed a much improved first quarter profit of £628m.
