The dalliance between investors looking for liquid products to access illiquid asset classes with the closed-end investment fund vehicle has been warming over the last couple of years. Infrastructure has been the big theme so far but this week the £60bn UK commercial property market was in focus with the launch of an innovative index-tracking fund in a deal being run by Jefferies Hoare Govett.
