Julius Baer snaps up ING’s Swiss bank
The ambitious private banking group has agreed to buy ING Bank (Switzerland) for about US$500 million. It comes after Julius Baer withdrew from bidding for ING’s Asia private banking assets, with a deal expected to take a few more weeks because of regulatory requirements.
