Safe but small Northern Powergrid gets £150m with ease
Northern Powergrid, the UK electricity distribution business ultimately owned by Berkshire Hathaway, issued its first bond for seven years today. To investors’ disappointment, it was only £150m, but the small size only deterred “a couple” of investors from participating, a banker said.
