ECM bankers hope for relief after dismal first half

Asian ECM bankers faced a torrid time in the first half of the year. Funds suffered outflows, volumes were heavily down, and secondary markets became increasingly volatile. But some bankers think the worst could now be over, and argue that there are signs the market is hitting a bottom.
