CVC sells F1 chunk to Waddell & Reed
Waddell & Reed has used the proceeds of its recent stake sales in a pair of Macanese casinos to help it fund a new $500m investment in Formula One. That gave the racing company’s owner, CVC Capital Partners, a way to sell down some its stake before a planned IPO.
