Firms forecast to pump out IPOs before year-end
No fewer than eight IPOs valued at US$1 billion or more are scheduled to take place before the end of 2009 in Asia, mostly Hong Kong. Although Chinese companies dominate, bankers expect the rest of the region to open up by the start of next year.
