China resuscitates ABS, but $7.8bn quota already covered
China’s banking regulator has resuscitated the country’s securitisation market, approving a new pilot programme that will lead to around Rmb50bn ($7.86bn) of issuance. But bankers said this quota has already been allocated. Now they have their fingers crossed that the amount will grow in the next round.
