Syndicates poised as Master Blenders readies spin-off

Sara Lee is closing in on its planned spin-off of D.E. Master Blenders 1753, its coffee and tea business, with the parent company choosing a new name for itself this week and trading in the as-if-when-issued new stock planned to begin on Tuesday.
