Godrej defies India equity falls with freefloat increase

Indian conglomerate Godrej Industries priced an institutional placement on Tuesday, raising Rs4.042bn ($72m). The deal priced at the top of the range and showed that well-regarded Indian names can still find demand, despite a fall in secondary markets over the course of the month and lacklustre ECM volumes since April.
