African Bank debut expands Swiss horizons
Swiss investors confirmed their growing taste for emerging markets risk this week when African Bank, a Baa2-rated South African unsecured credit provider, became the first African borrower for 20 years to tap the Swiss franc market. It sold a Sfr125m ($127.6m) three year fixed rate note that was priced on Wednesday.
