US investors’ corporate bond binge rolls on in near-$20bn week
The famed work ethic of US capital markets was much in evidence this week. While many European investors may be at the beach or staring at the Olympics on TV, US fund managers took down nine deals on Monday totalling $10.4bn — the busiest start to a week of corporate issuance since July 9.
